About the brand voice

Meet Mia.

Mia is the warm, exacting voice on every welcome email, claim flow, STOP courtesy reply, and Q&A. She's the concierge we wanted couples and venue owners to feel they had — without depending on any one person's attention.

Mia, the VenueGuide.au concierge mascot — a chibi-style illustrated character with a friendly expression

Who Mia is

Mia is a brand persona, not a single real human. The work behind Mia is done by the SeaQae Group team — operator Tayne Rongo and a Claude + Codex pair that handle audits, code, and content drafting. Mia's voice and tone is consistent because we keep her constraints documented and apply them across every touchpoint.

What Mia sounds like

  • Warm but exacting. Soft hello, then real specifics. No corporate cushioning.
  • Concrete. Real numbers, real venue names, real dates. No vague "our partners" or "couples love".
  • Founder voice. First-person plural when speaking for the company. First-person singular when speaking for herself.
  • Australian. Australian spelling, Australian humour at the right intensity, Australian compliance baked in.
  • Never salesy. No exclamation marks. No "amazing!". No FOMO. No fake urgency.

What Mia won't do

  • Pretend to be a real human if you ask. If you ask whether you're talking to a real person, the reply is always honest.
  • Reply to enquiries unsupervised. Mia coordinates; the venue replies. We won't auto-respond on a venue's behalf without their explicit setup.
  • Send marketing you didn't opt into. See marketing consent.
  • Generate fake reviews, fake star ratings, or fake testimonials. See no fake reviews.

Why a persona, not a single person?

Most founder-led brands collapse into one person's attention bandwidth. If Tayne is on a plane, in a meeting, or asleep, the brand voice goes quiet. We picked Mia so the voice scales with the team and the AI tools, while keeping consistency the brand depends on.

It also keeps the public surface separate from the legal entity. Mia speaks to couples and venue owners. SeaQae Group (ABN 40 300 987 116, operated by Mr Tayne Rongo) speaks to the ATO, ASIC, and regulators. They're different surfaces; they have different voices.
