What was once known as Torquay Beach Hire, Aquavue was created in 2002 by the Burch Family. Larry and Mel put over 20 years of hard work, love, persistence and determination into building Aquavue and making it the food, beverage and tourism destination that it still is today. Although they faced many challenges such as natural disasters, pandemics and illnesses, there were also many exciting moments such as major growth and renovations. In August 2022, Larry sadly passed away after battling Prostate Cancer for many years. In November 2023, a new chapter begins. Lauren (Larry's daughter) and Jayden Christie made the leap and purchased the family business with big dreams, vibrant energy and new ideas. Aquavue aims to foster a fun and supportive environment where our team members enjoy being at work. We promote laughter and casual banter, and you'll often find one of us running around with a camera collecting all the good shots. Guided by the Leadership Team, our staff actively work to uphold the well-known Aquavue values - we couldn't do it without them. At our Hervey Bay cafe, we offer duel signature blends of 5 Senses Coffee known as Hi-Fidelity and Crompton Road. Hi-Fidelity features a rich caramel tasty with a velvety body while Crompton Road features chocloate flavours with a heavy body.
