Only 10 minutes drive from Byron Bay in the picturesque village of Bangalow, this is a historic hall is a versatile and affordable wedding venue. Built in 1911, the well-kept hall still retains the original features and charm. A beautiful heritage aesthetic makes for great photos and a wonderful atmosphere. The interior features pressed iron and it has very high cathedral ceilings with a double insulated roof to help keep it cool and warm in winter. This is a ideal venue for a range of wedding styles from formal sit down to cocktail events. The two separate halls, on different levels, can be either isolated from each other or opened out to be conjoined, offering a capacity of up to 450 for standing or 320 for seated dinning events. There is also a mezzanine floor with 68 fixed seats and a large stage fronting the main hall. There are five double doors which can be opened to provide a nice cross-breeze in summer. The hall has an industrial kitchen, four separate bathrooms, wheelchair access, a large backstage area and a rear unloading bay. There is good access in the front of the hall from the street which is a quiet ‘no-through’ street. Although the hall has no grounds of its own, it is set next to the beautiful Bangalow Showground creating a quiet, beautiful setting. Quite a few couples choose to have their wedding ceremony in the Showgrounds.
