Welcome to Curringa Farm. Deluxe accommodation and attractions. Enjoy a taste of life on a real working sheep farm. Tassie’s favorite farm stay. We as your hosts ,Tim and Jane Parsons, are 6th generation Tasmanian farmers with support from the 7th generation following closely. The farm is 750 acres in size and runs up to 3000 sheep for meat and wool. We grow crops of seeds and pharmaceutical medicine. 12 % of the farm is under conservation with lovely forest areas, home to native birds, plants and animals. Our farmstay commenced in 1984 with the “Over The Back” cottage built by Tim’s parents. Stay overnight. Take a farm tour to see sheep shearing, working farm dogs, fluffy chickens, forest walk and yummy morning tea. Learn about best practice land-care and farming techniques. Book a delicious lunch for a minimum of 6 people. As a GLOBAL and multi national award winning recipients, our cottages are of an international standard, hosting visitors from around the world. Stunning cottages privately spaced among beautiful woodland. Varying configurations, split king beds, luxurious bathrooms, duo showers and deep freestanding bath. Complete dishwasher kitchens and gas BBQ on spacious decks. Each are positioned with private views of farm, lake or mountains.
