It houses the working 1890 pipe organ formerly installed in St Augustine's Church, Merewether and is also home to the highly significant 1870 J&A Brown Locomotive No4. Newcastle Museum's purpose-built McIntyre Theatrette is equipped with a large screen, high-quality digital projector and audio sound equipment. This light and spacious venue is ideal for conferences, seminars, presentations, and other corporate gatherings that require an engaging setting. City of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional country of the Awabakal and Worimi peoples.
